CERTIFICATION IN NON-EU COUNTRIES

CERTIFICATION IN COMPLIANCE WITH EU EQUIVALENT STANDARD

With the European Commission Implementing Regulation No. 2016/2259 of 15 December 2016 amending Regulation (EC) No 1235/2008 laying down detailed rules for implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 as regards the arrangements for imports of organic products from third countries, Public Institution “Ekoagros” was included into the list of control bodies and control institutions, provided for equivalency in Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No.1235/2008 to carry out certification services in the third countries (Kazakhstan, Tadzhikistan). The table below lists the obtained codes and the categories of certified products in each country.

Operators, applying for certification in compliance with EU equivalent standard, shall:

Be familiar with legislative requirements of legal acts.
Be familiar with the certification procedure of the institution in compliance with equivalent organic production and processing standard for third countries.
Provide the following forms duly filled out: TS-002; (Annex to TS-003); TS-003; TS-014.
Pay the document registration fee.
Sign an agreement on organic certification (TS-004)

CERTIFICATION IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF USDA NOP

Certification of organic production in compliance with the requirements of National Organic Program (NOP) of US Department of Agriculture.

PI “Ekoagros” is accredited to provide certification services on behalf of USDA NOP in the following areas: crops, livestock, handling and wild crops. Accreditation was granted according to the Organic Food Production Act of 1990, as well as USDA Organic regulation (7 CFR Part 205).

Provide the following forms duly filled out: NOP-001 (Application to certify organic production in compliance with national organic program – NOP) and NOP-009 CROP PRODUCTION (Organic System Plan) or NOP-009/1 HANDLING PRODUCTION (Organic System Plan) or NOP-009/2 LIVESTOCK PRODUCTION (Organic System Plan).

3. Crop and livestock production records (NOP-024).

The certification body “Ekoagros” is suspending the provision of certification services for organic production in Russia and Belarus due to Russia's military aggression in Ukraine.

**Contracts of organic production certification are terminated in accordance with the procedure and terms established by the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania. The issued supporting documents and / or extract from the decision also will not to be valid from the date of termination of the contract. Please contact the organic operator for a specific expiration date.
